I am running XP Pro and for reasons as yet unidentified, it has quite
shutting down properly. I get the message that says "Windows is shutting
down" but then instead of the screen going black, it goes blue and stays
there.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Fortunately it reboots ok, so
far, but blue screens in Windows XP make me nervous <g>
