XP Pro Logon Scripts Failing

We have several XP users who are having AD-configured logon scripts (which
use net use commands to map network drives) fail much of the time. This
is only happining to XP users (and not to all of them, nor all of the
time). Has anyone run into this and if so, have any tips?

Thanks,

Hi,

try this in Computer GPO settings: Alwayswait for the network at computer
startup and logon.

and see if it helps ... seems like sometimes XP is booting to fast for the
network. An other solution might be to tun of spanning protocol on you
switches, if you're sure you won't have probs with that.

I thought about that GPO option, but according to the MSKB, if the user
object has a logon script defined, then XP always acts as though this GPO
policy was already enabled.
