xp pro installation blocking

I am getting a message when trying to install xp pro(need to uninstal
microsoft shared fax client)I can't find this program in my compute
anywhere and it is not in the add/remove programs in the contro
panel.can anyone please help me with this so I can install m
xp......thank
 
Within the Add/Remove Programs applet did you select the sidebar
category "Add/Remove Windows Components" ? When you opt
for that category the listing should have a "Fax Services" sub category
where you can change Fax components.
