XP Pro/Home File Sharing Problems

Guys,

I have a urgent problem with two NEW XP machines. HELP!
1 - HP Laptop running XP Pro & 2 - Acer desktop running XP Home

Problem - XP Home Desktop can see file shares on XP Pro, read, write and
generally work OK. The Laptop (XP Pro) however cannot see the shares on the
XP Home, but can see the machine on network.
File sharing seems to be set up ok - tried both manually and via the home
networking wizards. Guest Accounts are set up on both machines. Norton
Internet Security 2006 Firewall is present, but local network traffic is
permitted in/out and wasn't working before Norton anyway. XP Pro PCcomes up
with a box saying that we don't have permission to access, please see
administrator... That's ME! Help!

Any Ideas?

I had major problems networking with Norton's. Once I uninstalled it, my
network worked fine.

I am assuming that you have granted sharing permissions on the files your
laptop is trying to access.
