xp pro hangs browsing mapped network drives on w2k server

Just recently two laptops running XP pro can't browse or
open files on a mapped network drive on a windows 2000
server. Reinstalled all software from Dell, still no luck.
This happened all of a sudden. All other pc's running
windows 98 still running fine. I have stopped firewalls,
virus, etc reinstalled drivers etc nothing.
Any guidance much appreciated.
 
It is the same problem on my client too. Win 98 work perfectly well. Windows XP isn't stable at all
I was wondering Window XP could have some bugs on this wireless

Wireless Equipments Used
DLink 120+ USB Wireless Adapter
DLINK 9000+ Access Point
