I posted this before but probably deleted before i read. I s there an
advantage of xp corporat over xp Pro? Thanks folks and its a great day to be
breathing. all else is icing. Loren

they are the same thing , just different licensing scheme
 
There is no "corporate" version. What you are referring to is the volume
license version which does not require activation. You have to be part of a
MS licensing program to use it legally.
 
There is no such thing as "XP Corporate." That's a common name given to a
volume license version of Windows XP by pirates.

XP Corporate is no official term. It has been used a lot as referring
to pirated versions of the 'Volume licensed' variant of XP Pro, where
licensing is not handled by the same methods as in retail ones, and
there is a common and pirated installation key. MSoft prevent such
copies being upgraded to Service Pack 1
