If I try to go to www.carmax.com , I have my XP Pro/sp2 machine have an
error and close Internet Explorer (latest version). The problem is
repeatable as well. If I try to browse the car selections, it brings up the
correct page that wants you to select your zip code. As soon as I type
anything into the text box, thats when it has the problem. I have no virus'
and regularly run all the spyware/adware as well.

My latest suspect might be the java that was required when installing
Azureus (for torrents). Is the carmax site a java run webpage and giving me
trouble? I also have two pc's that do not have anything except the OS and
they do not experience the problem.

Sorry if this is a java problem, I just dont know if its an XP issue either.

Thanks all,
SL

If possible, I will find the error code and report.

You should download the Java software, available
free, from Sun Microsystems:

That is actually the one I did download and install. I guess its no harm in
doing it again.

Thank you,
