Still Java Problems.

I am still having Java problems. I did as some of you had suggested and
uninstalled anything to do with Java and then started over. I installed the
latest version of Java at the Sun site and had them verify that I had the
latest version installed.

I than tried their 'hot games' and other java applications there and found
that they did not work. Java would try to bring them up but was never
successful. And I did wait a long time for all this to happen. I even went
out for several hours and came back with things just sitting there; never
having brought up the 'HOT GAME' that was available to play.

I wonder if I have installed something else that is needed by Java for it to
work. The SUN site says I am all ok with what I have installed. But yet no
java applications work.

Any further thoughts fellows??

Hi Clark and others ...

I fixed things and don't really know how. Other than to say that I deleted
all my anti-spy stuff and installed 'Microsoft Anti-spyware' and that found
3 problems which when they were deleted - than everything came back to life.

So, I never had a Java problem than. But something else. One of those
little bugs of some sort. Now that this Beta version of Microsofts
antispyware is working for me, life should be much better.

Thanks again Clark and everyone else who contributed to trying to fix my
problem(s)..
