I have bought and installed XPsp2 and want to re-install it for optimization.
From this point on, I will no longer have or need internet access. However,
software that I use does require Ethernet access. Other than that, I want to
know the optimal settings for performance.... which services I could/should
disable... and anything else I can do to remove all of the "unnecessary junk"
that Windows includes".......I am seeking speed and performance for a
"stand-a-lone" machine...no internet (except ethernet for software purposes),
no anything else...just speed, resources and optimal performance!!!!!
