XP & office 2000 professional

new computer with XP. Want to install & run office 2000
professional

receive two error messages
1. "the system cannot read from the specified device."
It can because i installed other cds.
2. "error 2755"

Any help would be appreciated. Please reply in english,
not computer-talk.

I know it's possible to run Office 2k on XP Pro cause we
do it where I work. Not familiar with the particualr
error your getting though.. If you haven't already try
exiting any antivirus program (norton antivirus, McAfee,
etc..) you have and see if that helps.
