I have 2 computers running xp pro sp2. I want to share
internet access by using a broadband router but on 1 pc I
only want them to have access to the internet not word or
any other programs. How can this be done?

Thanks
Ian

It's dead simple mate - just connect them together with
and ethernet *crossover* cable (unless you want to use a
router) and run the network setup wizards on both
machines and only set it so that the Shared Documents
files are shared on the systems (which is the default
anyway) and the computers won't be able to access
anything you don't want accessed (FYI i don't think that
other computers can run each other's programs anyway,
though i haven't tried)

Hope that helps

I don't want any on the computers to run any other
programs apart from internet explorer. No access to
control panel etc so users cannot change any settings.

Thanks
Ian
