Hi,
I have Windows XP with SP 2. It worked fine until I have installed (by
mistake) software that is not XP compatible, but rather was for NT and 2000.
Now when ever the screen saver comes on or when ever a second user log in the
computer tend to loss it's network connectivity. That is to say, the browser
will not connect to web pages and the outlook will not find the pop or smtp
servers.

Any idea how to remedy this without installing the OS again?

Many thanks,

Dov

Have you considered doing a System Restore to a time before the troublesome
software was installed?
