Yes, I have done that and I am afraid I am none the wiser.
I have Media Edition (not sure if it is 2005 or not, but I bought the PC in
February) and as I have never used any other version of XP I just wondered
how this one compared.
It is pretty much Windows XP Professional with enhanced multimedia
features. Also some features of XP Pro, such as the ability to log
into a Windows NT/2000/2003 Server Domain, are omitted from the Media
Center edition.
