XP & Macromedia Flash

I'm running Windows XP Home edition on a Sony VAIO laptop....

Can anyone offer any suggestions why I'm unable to install Macromedia
Flash?

Just something to check (it happened to me and took a few
days to figure it out). Do you have "Flash Killer"
enabled in "Spywareblaster"? If you do, you need to
disable it and then you can install flash player.

You would think so wouldn't you....
They were my first point of call and were of no use whatsoever!

I've learnt one thing... avoid building sites with Flash because you
have the potential of limiting your audience......

I don't have FlashKiller.... but I do have AdsGone installed, however, I
disabled it and went to MM site to install Flash Player, but it still
wouldn't install (actually only object placeholders appear on the MM web
page....this is the only site where I get this effect).

Thanks for the suggestion though.....
