Macromedia Flash Player

Since I installed Win SP2 I have been unable to run the Flash Player using
IE in Win XP Home). It is also impossible to DL the program from Macromedia.
Any help would be appreciated. TIA

I have tried this too. It will not download. The computer acts like it
wants to o something, but nothing happens. No save/run box, nothing but the
placeholder comes up on the screen.
