XP Machine Move / Changing "Activated" Computers

We have installed XP-home on one of our machines that will be relegated to
file storage only. It will be shifted to running WIN98.

Is there a method for moving the "machine" registration? I know it can be
done, but I can't remember the Microsoft phone number to address this issue.

You don't need to - just replace with Win 98 and re-install on another
machine. Activate on line as normal.
