XP loses network settings

I have two XP machines that used to use ICS via another
PC on the network.

I have since switched to a broadband with a router. Two
machines reconfigured to a gateway setup and work fine.

The other two work after you run the network wizard. Once
you reboot, all networking is lost. You run the wizard
and it works, reboot lost.

I've removed the adapter, repaired IP. Nothing works.

Any ideas?
