XP logon

Will WINXP reload virus scanner updates if you just log
off? I was told that you totally have "restart" for the
upddates to take effect.

True or not?

Don't know about other AntiVirus software, I'm using Symantec AVCE and it
DOES updates as long as the PC is ON.
 
yes you have to restart! its a only thing you have to do, too totally
updates your Antivirus, e.g Norton and McAfee.. especially upgrading your
Antivirus version.
