XP licensing

Hi guys,
i am planning to start a computer support company but need a little info on
the license. i would like to know if: when i go to a customer who needs XP
installed and they have a license but no disk, would it be legal to install
XP on their computer from one of my own disks (provided it is the same
version).

Provided it is the same version that should be fine. The area where you
will find difficulties is when the customer has on OEM version that has been
customized for their machine.

Windows XP Installation CDs and the Product Key used must match each
other in terms of:
- Windows XP edition (Home, Professional, Tablet PC, Media Center)
- Windows XP version (Retail Upgrade, Retail Full Install, OEM, Volume
License, Value Pack, MSDN, etc.)
- Language.
