Is it legal to install more than one PC using one single XP CD but
entering product key of each PC based on the sticker on each PC ?

*All PC come with one a copy of XP license and CD.

Hi,

It is possible, if they all came from the same sales canal (OEM, FPP,.). You
can later use the Activation wizard to change the product key:

Or you can try the Product Key Update Tool:

On the other hand, you can also try creating an image of one computer and
distribute it on all the others:

The quick answer is yes, it is legal. As long as a valid XP license (of the
same type) is owned for each installed machine.

Of the same type means, retail version, OEM, etc....

The license key is not stored on the CD (for retail and _GENERIC_ OEM's),
and most likely, if you receive a lot of XP CD's with a lot of PC's, they
most likely are the same exact same CD anyway.

Yes, that's fine. The only issue is that the CDs must be identical with
respect to Retail vs. OEM, Professional vs. Home, and Full vs. Upgrade.
Otherwise it won't work.

Yes, if you are using an OEM CD to install with.
