Can soeone out there help? My Win XP Home keeps randomly
rebooting for no apparent reason. AVG antivirus scan
yields no virus found, I DID have Dyfica virus, & AVG said
it could not remove it - then it suddenly appeared to fix
it.
Is this a known problem? Please don't say I have to
reinstall as I don't know how to !!

Try this:
Right-click on My Computer, go to Properties, then go to
the Advanced tab, then under the Startup & Recovery
section hit the Settings button. Then un-check the item
that says Automatically Restart under System Failure, then
OK your way out. The next time the system re-boots you
should get an error code on the blue screen. Then you can
investigate the error code and perhaps get a clue.

Good Luck !
