XP Install

I bought a copy of XP for my home computer and install it.
The computer motherboard fried rending the computer
usless. Can I install the same copy on my laptop.
 
If it was a retail copy, not in use on any other computer, and not OEM the
answer is yes. You may have to do a phone activation; its quick and easy,
follow screen prompts.
