Jamie

I am having serious issues re-instaqlling my XP software.
I've been trying to create a dual OS system running Me on
one drive partition, and XP on another (Me is for music
apps while XP is for home use).
I've followed the instructions to the T, but I come to a
serious problem after the XP installers copies files.
"C:" drive contains Me.
"D:" drive is the destination for XP.
After I input the security key, I choose the option for
selecting the drive and partition to install, and I select
D drive, as well as to copy install files to the D drive.
Setup then copies the files, reboots the computer, and I
get the black XP logo screen. From that point, I get a
pop-up windows that says:
"The file c:\$win_nt$.~ls\i386\asms\6000
\msft\windows\common\controls\controls.man is corrupt. It
contains all zeroes"
and then closes the installation.
Can anyopne offer any help as to what the problem is
here? If you could email me directly I'd appreciate it!
