I was having numerous issues with XP, so decided I would do a dirty
reinstall of the OS and see if that helped.
Reinstall went well enough until about halfway through when I received
the following error message:
"The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in the
dynamic link library MSDART.DLL"
No idea what this means or implies, but clickling 'OK' simply respawns
the same error message and I am unable to get past it. I rebooted the
computer twice, both times with the errror replicating itself exactly,
and at the same point during the installation.
It seems that there is nothing I can do - XP will not finish installing due
to the errror, and the computer will not properly reboot without the
installation being completed.
Any ideas?
