XP install and sound problem

I've recently installed XP Pro. After installation, I've
lost sound after first boot. XP turned off the DirectCD
driver (Version 4.0). Learned from manufacturer not
supported on XP. What should I do. Do I need a new
version of Easy CD Creator or is there another way to
address this.

Thanks for the info. Everything is off mute.

Would there be anything wrong with my soundcard or
drivers and if so how do I go about checking that out.

Any additional assistance or advice would be greatly
appreciated.
