XP & IE 6 problem

Has anyone experienced IE6 windows scrolling up and down uncontrollably? I
can't pin down what's causing it but it happens every few days. I wondered
if it was my MS optical mouse but that doesn't seem to be the problem, it
just seems to happen when a window is brought to the fore.

No critical updates or drivers pending so no idea where to go with this.
Advice appreciated.

You can try Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and under Browsing scroll to
'Allow smooth scrolling' and make sure it is checked.

I have had the same problem, and have tried everything conceivable.
What I found to work, believe it or not, is to move the mouse as fast as you
can back and forth on a flat surface of course.
I have emailed MS a few times of this problem, of course with no response,
but try the moving the mouse real fast, it works for me, and I don't have to
worry if the great MS will try to solve a problem for little ole me.

Happens to me occasionally. Just roll the scroll wheel up and down and it
should stop.
