Hello,
I have a weird problem. I am running Windows XP SP2 fully patched etc.
and just recently, many of my icons started changing back to their
default. I have WinXP skinned with Flyakite OSX and the default folder
and start menu icons have reverted back to their windows default. My
Computer, My Documents (but not My Pictures, My Music, etc.), Some of
the Control Panel Icons and some misc. Icons (like all of my Office
apps) have not changed, but everything else has. When i noticed it, i
reinstalled Flyakite OSX and this solved the problem until i restarted
the computer, and then the problem came back. I thought that Flyakite
modified the registry so that the default icons were replaced, but
apparently not. I also have been running Flyakite for several months
and have had no problems like this. Could it be a MS Patch? Thanks,
