xp home will not shut down

there was a command to type in after booting with xp
software cd in drive, in order to fix windows original
files. Anybody recall that?

Put the Windows XP CD in your drive and from a command prompt type:

sfc /scannow

Now I can hybernate then shut dowm.
Seems the problem is with nero6 or photoshop 7 drivers as
I installed both, lately.
