XP Home vs. Pro

Does XP Home lack the "My Controls" -> "Edit Signature" menu? I have been
unable to find it anywhere on my XP Home computer, so I am inferring that
either I have overlooked it or it is present only in XP Pro.

I don't think there's any such thing in either OS. I don't see
anything like that in either my XP Pro machine at work or my XP Home
machine at home.

Therefore I assume you're seeing it in an application. Whatever it is,
maybe it doesn't exist on your Home computer, or maybe it's configured
differently?

Where are you seeing this? It sounds like you're talking about an email
program, not an operating system feature.

I have had a further look at the Bulletin Board website I saw the system data
listed on by each guru; it does not have any special program for extracting
data about your PC's h/w and s/w. Instead you have to look it up in the usual
places, cut and paste it into a file, adjusting the font size as you do so
and then add it to your profile for that Bulletin Board.
