XP Home upgrade on E-Bay

Hi
Ive just bought Win XP Home upgrade on E-Bay.It is an original disk with product code etc,and is not 'alegedly' being used on any other computer. Will I be able to use it? I have a Win 98 CD-ROM with product key already installed

No way to know until you try it. Personally, I'd never buy
software on eBay; there's no way to verify, in advance, the legitimacy
of the licenses, and eBay makes only token efforts to keep its sellers
honest.

You may or may not have a valid copy.
You may be able to install it and later it will fail when you try to
update.

You made a bad choice.
