OK wierd problem. I jusr rebooted and recieved my
register option for windows which i did ages ago . anyway
i filled this in aand reregistered but when my windows
finally came up i recieved the error message "Bad image"
please check installation disk, so i put my xp home disk
in and tried to do a repair but as soon as i click on
install windows i get the error message" The application
or DLL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32|WINSPOOL.DRV is not a valid
windows image. please check this against your
installation diskette"
NNow im reasonabnly good with pcs , but even i have no
idea what the hell is going on. at the moment i cant seem
to get any software to work without that message coming
up and i really dont want to format the hd as i cant back
up anything as my cdr wont work either without this
message coming up. If anyone has any suggestions they
will be much appreciated

Reasonable probability that you have a virus or some other exploit. Get a
copy of mwav.exe from www.mwti.net (free utilities) and run it. Also get
Spybot & Adaware at the same time. Suggest you get a friend to download
these and burn them to CD and run from CD, so that the masters won't become
corrupted.

yeh i got adaware and spyboot already and a a virus
checker...ill try that program though .Thanks
