xp home setup

Hi all

Hopefully someone can help. I have a new machine built from scratch and when
I tried to install xp home it started to load got the the format where I
chose ntfs system and left the room. On my return I had a black screen saying
cannot load software error no codes. Any ideas.

What do you mean but all external equipment? Mouse, Keybord???

What is a SATA disk? Sorry for looking stupid but am new at this so don't
know all the lingo. Software is original and came with the machine if thats
what you asking.

Thanks my problem is solved. I had bought a sony flat screen and thats where
the problem was.
