XP Home Install

I just built my first PC: AMD64 3200+ CPU, Asus K8V Deluxe
Mobo, Western Digital 120 GB HD (Primary Master), Samsung
CD/RW+DVD (Secondary Master), ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, with a
Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum. I cannot
load my Windows XP Home Edition OS. When I put in the
disk, I get the message that Windows Setup is loading
various files and drivers; and when it gets to the license
agreement, I am prompted to hit F8 to accept. I scroll to
the end of the agreement and hit F8, nothing happens. I
cannot proceed past this point. I can hit the ESC key to
exit, but nothing more. I know that my Logitech keyboard
works because I can use it to make changes in the AMI BIOS
Setup Utility. I even know the F8 key work works because I
can hit it during boot up to change the priority of the
boot devices, and this works. The BIOS recognizes all my
devices. What can I do to install my OS...any help would
be greatly appreciated!

Is the Logitech keyboard USB or wireless? If yes, try a PS/2 keyboard (or a
PS/2 adapter for the keyboard you have) to run the installation.
Afterwards, install the Logitech keyboard and its software. Be sure to
check the Logitech site for updated software that is marked as suitable
for use with XP.
