XP Home & IIS

I have Windows XP Home Edition and need to install some software that
requires IIS. Can I install IIS on the Home Edition? When I go to Control
Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Install Windows Components, I don't see an
option to install IIS.

TIA.

Sorry, no. You either have to upgrade to XP Professional or use a
third-party prod\uct like Apache Server.

No, WinXP Home does not support IIS. If you really need IIS, you'll
have to upgrade to WinXP Pro.
