XP Home Edition

Something has happened to my XP Home edition and I can not log on to the
administrator. I can log on to all the other login but the administrator. I
click on the adminstrator icon and it brings up the desk top and just hangs
there.

Is there a safe mode to get into the administrator? How can I get in and
find out what the problem is??

Hi Dude,
I understood ur Problem now the all you have to do is to restart
your PC & as soon as ir starts start pressing F8 Function key that will give
you a window containing some options like Normal Boot, Safe Mode, Safe More
Command Prompt Only etc. select Safe mode From there and u will be able to
log on to ur Administrator Account otherwise you need to Delete ur That
account and creat new Administrator account. Make sure you have not setup ur
previous account as to keep all files private then only you will be able to
copy ur files from your old account to New account.

The default Administrator account in Windows XP Home is normally
hidden and not available for login except when booting into Safe Mode.

Did you create a new user account and name that one Administrator? If
so then you probably should rename it to Admin or something similar.

Try booting into Safe Mode. Does the login screen show two choices,
both named Administrator?
