XP Home Edition - software install probs

A

I'm currently running XP Home Edition on an Intel P4 with a 2.8gh
processor speed, and with 1Gb of RAM.

I've tried to install the following games for my son :-

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (EA Games)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (EA Games)
Madden NFL 2002 (EA Sports)

Every time I try to install each game from its CD-Rom, I get th
following message on the screen :-

"RPC server unavailable - installation engine failed to initialise"

At first I assumed this was happening because of some possibl
conflict between the EA software and my pc, but this was the
eliminated as I managed to install Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 (E
Sports) and FIFA 2000 (EA Sports) without any problems at all.

Any suggestions or solutions would be much appreciated.

If you would rather send the suggestions to me directly rather tha
post on here please mail to (e-mail address removed)

Thanks
Andre

Might this be one of the games that need to be installed whilst
connected to the EA server over the internet? If this is the case,
then make the internet connection.
