XP Home Ed. only loads in safe mode

Hi Everyone,

Can someone help me. I have reloaded XP Home Ed. on my
gateway pc after they removed it and the pc will not load
xp only in safe mode. Any ideas?

Make sure /Safeboot isn't set here: Start>Run>Msconfig>ok>Boot.ini
If that is okay,then try:-

Also run chkdsk to check if there is any bad sector or not.

Check the event viewer log to find the clue.

The message reads: There is a problem with atidvag
dirve. The atidvag device driver is stuck in an infinite
loop. Check with vendor for driver updates. Is it
possible to copy the drivers to a floppy from another pc
and load onto the problem pc.
