Lately, whenever I try to dfragment my hard drive using the
defragment utility (dfrgntsf.exe) I get the following error
message:
"Command line operation of disk defragmenter is not
supported"Strangely enough. this utility exists in 3
folders, i.e. I386, windows\system32, and windows\system32\ias.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

What part of "...is not supported" do you not understand?

Rocky

While that file does some of the work it is not defrag. Defrag's name is , can you guess, defrag.
