I've managed to get the HD partitioned properly (NTSF) and everythin

Anyone have any suggestions? Recommendations? Alternatives? Las

just curious, what size/how big is the partition?

File copy problems on a clean install pretty much boil down to just a few possibilities:

1. RAM (as in bad stick or slot)
2. CDROM drive (as in defective in some way such as out of balance or dirty inside)
3. Hard drive (as in damaged surface or incorrect partitioning or formatting)
4. Media (as in damaged CDROM disk)
