XP Home - Can't Log Onto Network Drive Via VPN

XP HOME SP1a - connecting to work network by VPN DSL connection. Can read
Outlook email, view corporate webpage, etc.
Can access network drives because it prompts for password/username. When I
attempt to enter mine it prefaces corporate username
with my private email acct user name. How can just enter my corporate logon
credentials?
