XP home Automatically tries to open zip files rather than download them!

XP home's Windows Explorer suddenly automatically tries
to open zip files rather than download them!
Normally, this would not be a problem.
I would just right click, and SAVE TARGET AS... etc.
BUT I wish to download a zip whose only link is a menu
button, which has security proticols that do not allow
the direct link (ex. windows.com/test393.zip) to be
viewed.
How do I disable Explorer automatically opening rather
than downloading zip files?

Hello, Pls try this:

1. Open My Computer
2. Click "Tools" -> "Folder Options".
3. Change to the "File Type" tab
4. Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight "ZIP/Winzip" and click the
"Advanced" button. The description might vary ***
Then check the option "confirm open after download".
