XP Hangs with ATI tuner card

Whenever, I try to run ATI's Multimedia Center (launchpd.exe), I am
given an error message that says, "AtiSServ failed to provide the
required interfaces." If I try to launch the TV app, my whole system
hangs. The mouse pointer doesn't even move and I have to do a hard
reset to reboot. I have the lastest drivers for my system.

AMD Athlon XP 1800
256MB RAM
Nvidea GeForce DDR
ATI TV wonder
Windows XP Pro

Anyone have any ideas what's wrong?

move the tv card to a diferent pci slot. 90% of the time if you use the pci
slot right next to agp slot you have problems.
