XP Hangs on boot up

I am having a problem with XP Pro booting correctly. When starting up it
gets to to the logon screen, your enter your username and password. Once
entered it will hang on a blank blue screen (not blue screen of death). It
will hang forever until you hit "ctrl-alt-delete" and then it will boot
normaly.

Any ideas????

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type:

SFC /SCANNOW
