I accidentally dragged and copied my StartUp folder onto my desk top. My
question is how do I delete the StartUp folder from my desk top?

No, there is nothing in it. Still, it will not let me delete it even
though there is a copy in my start menu. Dragging it back does not
help. It only adds another copy to the start-menu.

I did what you did to see if it would do the same thing
to me and it did the same thing. I was able to use a
program I have called bcwipe to wipe it and remove it but
the funny thing was that after I did that and tried to
copy it again to the disktop it would not let me do it
again. If you go to google Yahoo and do a search you can
find bcwipe and download a trial version and it might
worked to remove it. I am not sure about the trial
verson I have a older version that is not a trail verson.
best I can tell you

The easiest thing to do is just do a System Restore to before you made
the mistake.
