XP firewall with AOL 7.0

Is there a way to access the firewall in XP on an AOL 7
dial-up connection? I read that AOL's software is not
compatible to XP but their technical support claims that
isn't true. When I try to view the properties on the AOL
connection, nothing happens.
 
As far as I know AOL is not compatible with Windows XP firewall.
I have heard that a new version of AOL may be compatible.
Call back AOL and get a second opinion and a solution if they say
there is one.
