Open Control Panel/Display/Appearance tab/Effects button. Select the "Show
windows contents while dragging" option.

Open Control Panel/Display/Appearance tab/Effects button. Select the "Show
windows contents while dragging" option.

I have tried to set this option, but it only concerns dragging of dialogs.
My problem is that desktop icons and files in explorer disappear when
dragging them.

If the option to "Show windows contents while dragging" is selected, any
windows, that is not maximized, or file should not change it's appearance
when it is dragged. If the option is not selected, then only the outline of
any window or just the icon for the file will display when dragging.

If the option is enabled and the icon or window is disappearing when it is
dragged, this could be a video issue. The redraw of the screen is not
updating properly. Try checking for updated video drivers for the installed
video adapter.

Thank you for the answers !
Actually there seems to be some kind of hardware problem with the video
adapter, Dell will send me a new one.
