XP fails to boot after AntiSpyware cleanup

Installed Antisypyware on XP Home SP2 - installed ok.
Scanned the machine - 65 spyware/adware found. Rebooted
ok. Cleaned most of the critical spyware (selecting only
those recommended by Antispyware), then was prompted to
reboot. As the machine closed down, there was a message
asking whether or not to accept a redirection to the
Antispyware downloads directory (ie the url had been
changed). I selected no. Rebooted, now machine fails to
load Windows - reboots after the Windows logo displays.
Any ideas?

Whens the Last Time you reloaded Windows XP I got the
same OS config service pack to on top of Windows xp home
But once I got it figured out I reinstalled everything
Clean Build and it runs great with MS anti-spyware beta.
