XP error message

Whenever windows explorer or internet explorer are
accessed on my pc, i get the following error:

" is not a valid date.

I have checked the date and time on my pc and all seems
correct. does anyone know what is causing this?

I posted the same question and have not had any answer
yet.
Has your computer been infected by a trojan horse
recently? Mine was a few days before I started having
this problem and suspect that was the cause. But I don't
have a cure yet.
