XP dropping down Menus while working

HI:

When using my computer (Windows XP SP2) with any program, or doing anything,
menus just drop down. I dont push any special key or anything. It even goes
and tries to delete what I am doing. It even drops stuff from the clip board
into what I am typing. One menu says this undo-cut-paste-delete-select all.
It happens all the time. I can try to tell you more what is happening if
needed.

Try another keyboard: this sounds like one that is (spuriously)
injecting the scan-codes for CTL or Alt and hence turning a character
you type into some control. Or you may be catching Ctrl unawares when
hitting Shift

I bought a new keyboard but that didn't work. I thought that was the
problem. I scanned for worns but that was not it. I tried 3 different anti
virus, but that not problem. It does it while im typing all the time. Even
repartioned and formated hard drive, reinstalled windows but still a
problem. Any more ideas.
