XP does not boot from HD

I did a clean install of XP home and have checked BIOS
vers. to be the latest from MSI. The System only boots
from CD. I tryed all seq. of boot seq. Is there any wy to
check if the boot info on the hard disk is correct and
complete?

Happy for any hint.

What's the error message?
If there is none, you have set the wrong Bios-boot options.
